2024 Northwest Ohio Local Fireworks Guide

Northwest Ohio is gearing up for a spectacular Independence Day celebration with fireworks displays planned across the region. From Toledo to Bowling Green, Findlay to Defiance, residents and visitors alike can look forward to dazzling shows lighting up the night sky. These family-friendly events offer a perfect opportunity to gather with loved ones, spread out a blanket, and enjoy the patriotic spectacle. Remember to arrive early for the best viewing spots and check local guidelines for any special instructions. Bring lawn chairs, snacks, and don’t forget your patriotic spirit! Specific dates, times, and locations for each community’s fireworks display are listed below.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 3

Toledo Mud Hens

Bowling Green

Findlay/Hancock County

Maumee/Perrysburg

    • At 10 p.m. from Orleans Park
        • Visible from both sides of the Maumee River
        • Fireworks will be set off from Orleans Park, therefore parking will not be available at Orleans Park
        • Spectators can set up chairs and view the show from the bridge by entering from the Maumee side

Oak Harbor

Sylvania

    • At 10 p.m. at Centennial Terrace
        • Star Spangled Celebration at Centennial Terrace from 7-11 p.m.
        • Tickets are available online or at doors
        • General admission is $7 for ages 12 and up, $5 for children under 12
        • Also viewable from Sylvania Pacesetter Park
        • Parking is $5 at both venues

Wauseon

THURSDAY, JULY 4

Sandusky

    • At dusk at Cedar Point Beach

Toledo

Tiffin

Port Clinton

Put-in-Bay

Van Wert

FRIDAY, JULY 5

Bellevue

    • At dusk at Robert Peters Park
        • BellevUNITY Festival
        • Activities from 5-10 p.m. at Central Park
        • Food vendors, music from 3lentless, children’s activities, games and more
        • Pictures with Buckeyes superfan Big Nut from 5-7 p.m.

Clyde

Defiance

Sandusky

    • At dusk at Cedar Point Beach

Whitehouse

    • Founder’s Day Fireworks
        • Food trucks ready at 5 p.m.
        • Kall Me Kendra playing live music from 6:15-9:15 p.m.
        • Historian Joel Berg presenting on Anthony Wayne history
        • Fireworks at dusk
        • No cost for admission

SATURDAY, JULY 6

Fostoria

Woodville

Waterville

Saturday, July 13

Oregon

    • Boomfest ’24
        • 2 p.m. – Midnight at the Dunn Chevy rear parking lot, 3000 Dustin Road
        • Games, crafts and other activities begin at 2 p.m., music is at 5 p.m.
        • Fireworks at dusk
