Archery Class at Maumee Bay State Park

Have you ever watched an archer draw back a bow and thought, “I’d love to try that”? Now’s your chance! Join us for a one-of-a-kind morning at the Maumee Bay Archery Range where beginners and curious minds are not just welcome — they’re exactly who this experience is designed for.
Before anyone picks up a bow, NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) Trained Naturalists will walk the group through a thorough introduction to archery and an important safety discussion, so you’ll feel confident and comfortable from the very start. From there, our expert guides will provide hands-on instruction, helping you find your footing, your form, and eventually — your target.
Once you’ve got the basics down, it’s time to step up to the range and put your new skills to the test! Whether you’re a first-time archer working on simply hitting the target or a natural talent dialing in your accuracy, the experience is as fun and rewarding as you make it. Expect plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and maybe even a new hobby you didn’t know you needed.
No experience is necessary — just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, learn a timeless skill, and share a memorable morning with fellow CAG clients and friends.
RSVP at citizenadvisory.com/rsvp or by calling the CAG office at 419-872-0204.
