National Museum of the Great Lakes Museum and Boats Tour on Wednesday, July 30th at 11AM (Complimentary)

July 30 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join Citizen Advisory Group for an immersive exploration of the National Museum of the Great Lakes, home to the incredible stories of North America’s most precious natural resource. This complimentary tour invites you to discover the rich maritime heritage of the Great Lakes, which collectively hold 84% of North America’s fresh water.

The museum experience features breathtaking photography, over 300 artifacts, powerful audiovisual displays, and 40 hands-on interactive exhibits. Highlights include tours of two historic vessels: the magnificent 617-foot iron ore freighter Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship and the historic Museum Tug Ohio.

Journey through time as you explore the evolution of Great Lakes transportation—from indigenous canoes and wooden schooners to early steamers and modern freighters—some of which you may spot navigating the mighty Maumee River adjacent to the museum.

RSVP by going to http://www.citizenadvisory.com/rsvp or by calling the CAG office at 419-872-0204.
