We’ll be exploring the Maumee Bay Boardwalk — a scenic 1.8-mile trail that winds through a stunning wet prairie landscape right here in our own backyard. \nThis recently renovated trail offers a smooth\, accessible path so you can take in the surroundings at your own pace and soak up everything nature has to offer. Keep your eyes open — wildlife sightings are practically guaranteed! From industrious muskrats and soaring bald eagles to darting dragonflies\, migratory and shorebirds\, and a fascinating variety of reptile species\, there’s always something worth stopping to admire. \nWhether you’re an avid nature lover or simply looking for a peaceful way to spend a Tuesday morning with good company\, this hike is the perfect opportunity to unplug\, breathe in some fresh air\, and reconnect with the natural beauty of the Lake Erie shoreline. \nAll fitness levels are welcome.
